1908 - She dropped out of school to work in a burlesque review.

1921 - She was featured singing "My Man" which became both a big hit and her signature song.

         - She is a posthumous recipient of a Grammy Hall of Fame Award for her recording of "My Man."

1930 - Be Yourself.

1936 - The Great Ziegfeld.

1937 - She moved to NBC in December, performing the Snooks routines as part of the Good News show.

1938 - Everybody Sing.

1946 - Ziegfeld Follies.

1951 - Died on the 29th of May.
