Brice, Calvin Stewart (Calvin)
1845 - He was born in Denmark, Morrow County, Ohio on the 17th of September.
1861 - Brice dropped out of Miami University in to join the Union Army.
1863 - He returned to Miami and earned his degree.
- Brice studied law at the University of Michigan and entered the railroad business where he made his fortune.
1879 - He became president of the Lake Erie & Western Railroad and built the Nickel Plate Road.
1889 - He served as the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
1890 - Brice was elected to the Senate.
1896 - He served a single term and was not a candidate for re-election.
1898 - He died on the 15th of December.
