1871 - Born on June 12th in Lithuania. The designer of the United States Lincoln Cent.
1907 - Brenner was commissioned to produce a plaque bearing the image of President Abraham Lincoln.
1908 - He was commissioned to design the Panama Canal service medal bearing the image of President Theodore Roosevelt.
1918 - Brenner's initials were thereby removed, but were restored, incused in the bottom left slant edge of Lincoln's coat.
1924 - Died on April 5th in Bronx County, New York.
