1966 - Born on the 7th of October in Severn, Maryland. A six-time Grammy Award winning African American R&B singer and pianist. She is most notable for her dark, deep, thick contralto vocals, which are low even by contralto standards.

1993-1994 - Along with "Love Shoulda Brought You Home", Toni Braxton also featured the U.S. top ten hit singles "Another Sad Love Song" and "Breathe Again" and the singles "You Mean The World To Me," and "How Many Ways". "Breathe Again" and "Seven Whole Days", which was never released as a commercial single, topped the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart.

2001 - Married former Mint Condition keyboardist, Keri Lewis on April 21st. They had two children.

         - She also released an album of Christmas songs entitled "Snowflakes".

         - Appeared in the movie, "Kingdom Come" on February 8th.

2005 - Released her 5th studio album titled "Libra" with the first single "Please" already being and second single "Trippin'" around the corner.
