Bradley Alexander Stark. Born: Brandon, Florida on August 17, 1978. Currently resides in Asheville.
Parents are Brenda (Dillingham) Stark and William Stark. Brad has an older brother, Christopher Stark.
At age 3, the Stark family moved from Florida to Asheville, NC, Brad’s mother being from Asheville originally with family ties to Barnardsville. Brad Stark was a multi-talented athlete participating in varsity soccer and baseball while attending Asheville High School. Brad played Division I collegiate baseball at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and then, to complete his undergraduate education, Brad transferred to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received a B.A. degree in 2001. Brad went on to attend the Florida State University College of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. During his time in law school Brad received various honors and academic awards. Brad was selected to the Law Review and was nominated and chosen to join The Order of the Coif.
Brad Stark began his law career as an attorney at the Van Winkle Law Firm in Asheville, North Carolina, which was for many years the oldest and largest law firm west of Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2008, Brad was nominated for the William L. Thorp Pro Bono Service Award by the 28th Judicial District Bar and Pisgah Legal Services for his work through the Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers Program (MAVL) for his outstanding service to the poor. Additionally, Brad was recognized as a Champion of Justice by the North Carolina Bar Association for his work through the MAVL program for his pro bono work for low income people. Brad was also elected to a three year term on the 28th Judicial District’s Executive Committee.
In 2008, Brad Stark left the Van Winkle Law Firm and joined with Perry Fisher to form the Asheville law firm now known as Fisher Stark Cash, P.A. Brad Stark is an inaugural member of the Harry C. Martin Chapter of the American Inns of Court. The mission of the American Inns of Court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills. Brad Stark has handled legal matters for clients throughout the State of North Carolina as well as matters in other jurisdictions. He has been a successful attorney for many years now focusing his practice in the areas of Personal Injury Law and Condemnation.
