1851 - Boyd was born in Panama City, Panama on the 24th of September.
1888 - He served in several positions: member of the Panama City Town Hall.
1903 - He became member of the Provisional Government Junta.
1910 - He became National Assembly senator.

- He was acting President of Panama from October 1 to October 5.
1911-1912 - He was the Foreign relations minister.
