1943 - Eva Narcissus Boyd was born in Belhaven, North Carolina on the 29th of June.

1987-1988 - She was interviewed after the success of the Kylie Minogue cover version of "The Loco-Motion", Boyd stated that she did not like the new version; however its then-current popularity allowed her to make a comeback in show business.
2001 - She continued performing until she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October.
2003 - She died on the 10th of April.
