1711 - Born on May 18th in the Republic of Ragusa. A Dalmatian Jesuit and well-known Croatian mathematician, astronomer, and natural philosopher.
1725 - He entered the novitiate of the Society of Jesus in Rome.
1755-1758 - He wrote 'De litteraria expeditione per Pontificam ditionem' and 'Theoria philosophiae naturalis'.
- He was sent by the city of Lucca to the Court of Vienna to urge the damming of the lakes which were threatening the city.
1764 - He accepted the appointment of professor of mathematics at the University of Pavia (Ticinum).
1784 - He availed himself of this opportunity to extend and complete his archeological studies in these countries, as may be gathered from his journal published at Bassano.
1785 - He wrote 'Opera pertinentia ad opticam at Astronomiam maxima ex parte nova et omnia hucusque inmedita'.
1787 - Died on February 13th in Milan.
