1911 - He was born in Valletta on the 5th of July, the son of Olivier Borg Olivier de Puget Paleologo, Prince of Selimbria and Rosa Amato-Pace.
1937 - He finished Doctor of Laws at Royal at University of Malta.
1939 - He was elected to the Council of Government.
1943 - He married Alexandra Mattei.
1947 - He was elected to the Legislative Assembly and was later Deputy Leader of the Opposition.
1950 - He served as Prime Minister of Malta as the Leader of the Nationalist Party.
- He became Minister of Education in the Nationalist Minority Government.
1951 - In May, he formed a coalition Government with the Malta Works Party.
1953 - He returned to office and was Head of Coalition Government with the Malta Worker's Party.
1955 - 1958 - He became Leader of the Opposition.
1958 - He led the Party delegation for talks in London about the restoration of self-government.
1962 - 1971 - Once again, he became the Prime minister of Malta.
1963 - On 13th of July, he headed a Government delegation for the Malta Independence Conference.
1964 - He made a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Sylvester, Pope, by His Holiness Pope Paul VI.
- He set the 21st of September as Malta's Independence Day.
- Conferred to him by the Royal University of Malta the degree of Doctor of Literature (Honoris Causa).
- Received by His Holiness Pope Paul VI and made Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Pius IX.
1965 - He became Minister of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
1968 - He decorated with the Grand Cross-of Merit of the Order of Malta by the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitallier Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta.
1980 - He died on the 29th of October.
