Boren, Lyle H. (Lyle)
1909 - He was born near Waxahachie, Ellis County, Tex., on the 11th of May.
1917 - He moved to Lawton, Okla.
1930 - He was graduated from the East Central College at Ada, Okla, and from Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College at Stillwater; teacher in the schools at Wolf, Okla.
1935 - He served as a deputy procurement officer of the United States Treasury Department.
1946 - He was elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-fifth and to the four succeeding Congresses unsuccessful candidate for renomination.
1954-1970 - He resumed former mercantile business and agricultural pursuits; president of a petroleum corporation; representative of the Association of Western Railroads.
- He was assistant to the Insurance Commissioner, State of Oklahoma; was a resident of Oklahoma City, Okla.,
1992 - He died on the 2nd of July.
