1950 - He was born on the 10th of December in Fort Smith, Arkansasto Marie Nichols and Fay Winford Boozman, Jr.
1977 - He graduated from the Southern College of Optometry.
- He entered private practice as co-founder of Boozman-Hof Regional Eye Clinic in Rogers.
- He was elected to Congress in special election after his predecessor, Asa Hutchinson resigned.
2001 - He was member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the 3rd District of Arkansas.
2003 - Boozman was also named to the Speaker's Task Force for a Drug-Free America.
2004 - Boozman was appointed by the Speaker of the House to the House Policy Committee.
2006 - He won again in the re-election, defeating Democrat Woodrow Anderson III.
- He is currently the sole Republican member of Congress from Arkansas.
