Bond, Christopher Samuel (Kit)
1939 - Bond was born in St. Louis, Missouri on the 6th of March to Elizabeth Green and Arthur D. Bond.
1956 - He graduated from Deerfield Academy.
1960 - He graduated from Princeton University.
- He took his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he was first in his class.
- Bond was elected governor.
1968 - He returned to his hometown of Mexico, Missouri, to run for Congress.
1969 - Bond served as an Assistant Attorney General.
1970 - At the age of 31, he was elected Missouri State Auditor.
1973-1977 - He became Governor of Missouri (the youngest governor in the history of Missouri).
1987 - Bond was elected Senator, defeating Lieutenant Governor Harriett Woods.
