1778 - He was born on the 2nd of September in Ajaccio, Corsica. He was the fifth surviving child and fourth surviving son of Carlo Buonaparte and Letizia Ramolino.

1806 - Napoleon made him king of Holland on June.

         - Napoleon, accusing him of putting Dutch interests above those of France.

1806 - He became the king of Netherlands.

1808 - He was created Constable of France .

1810 - He was forced him to abdicate on the 1st of July.

         - Louis Bonaparte created the Count of Saint-Leu.

1844 - Louis was seen by Bonapartists as the rightful Emperor of the French.

1846 - Louis died on the 25th of July and was is buried at Saint Leu la Forêt, Île de France.
