1962 - Born on the 2nd of March in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, USA.

 

Attended St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey for two years, freshman and sophomore years, before being forced to transfer to Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, New Jersey because of poor grades.

 

1980 - His first appearance in any musical production was in the 80's Star Wars album, Christmas in the Stars.

 

1985 - He discovered the band Cinderella at the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia.

 

1987 - Co-wrote and sang back up on Cher's hit single, "We All Sleep Alone."

 

1989 - Married Dorothea Hurley, his high school sweetheart, on April 29 this year in the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

2001 - He addressed the Oxford Union debate society.

 

2004 - In this year's presidential election, he campaigned for Democratic nominee, John Kerry.

 

       - Became founder and owner of the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League with friend and fellow band member Richie Sambora.

 

2005 - Awarded by World Music Awards, he received the Diamond Award for sales of 100+ million albums.

 

2006 - Inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame.

 

2007 - He won a Grammy award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration, "Who Says You Can't."
