– Elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-second and to the five succeeding Congresses.
1935 – He served as the Majority Whip.
– Member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and of the Knights of Columbus.
1942 – He died on 18th of May and was interred in the Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
