1855 - Born in Springfield, Ohio on December 6th. He was a painter, watercolorist and engraver.

1876 - He received his formal training at the Beaux-Arts Academie under Jean Léon Gérôme in Paris.

         - Boggs regularly exhibited at the Salon des Artists Francais where he was awarded Hors Concours (exceptional).

1879 - His work was also shown in the United States, most often at the National Academy of Design, in New York, and at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, in Philadelphia.

1885 - The Boston Museum purchased the prize-winning painting  “la Houle d’Honfleur” by Boggs’s for $2,500 at the Universal Exposition exhibition in New York.

1889 - At the Universal Exposition, Frank-Myers Boggs was awarded the Silver medal.

1926 - Died on August 8th in Meudon (Hauts- de-Seine), France.
