1937 - Ivan Frederick Boesky was born on the 6th of March in Detroit, to a Russian-Jewish family. He was notable for his prominent role in a Wall Street insider trading scandal that occurred in the United States.

 

Graduated from Detroit College of Law.

 

1986 - Confessed to illegal insider trading on Wall Street, cooperating with Securities and Exchange Commission undercover investigation before confession made public.

 

        - Investigated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for making investments based on tips received from corporate insiders.

 

1987 - Pleaded guilty and convicted of one felony charge of conspiracy to make fraudulent statements to government sentenced to three years in prison.

 

1987-1990 - He served his prison sentence at Lompoc FPC near Vandenburg AFB in California.
