1618 - Thomas Blood was born in County Clare in Ireland.
1660 - The monarchy was restored, these grants were cancelled, and he lost most of his income.
Conspired to kidnap James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde, and the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.
1670 - He tried to abduct Butler again, but this also failed.
1671 - Blood made his infamous attempt to steal the Crown Jewels.
1680 - He died on 24th of August at his home in Bowling Alley, Westminster.
