1809 – Born on the 10th of March Kitegan, county Wicklow, Ireland. Canadian (Irish-born) jurist.
– He was the father of Edward Blake.
– He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.
1832 – He immigrated to Canada and settled on a farm in Middlesex County.
1838 – Studied law, and was called to the bar.
1848 – He was elected to the Legislature for East York (now Ontario County).
– Appointed Solicitor-General for Upper Canada in the Lafontaine-Baldwin ministry.
1849 – Resigned from the ministry in order to become the first chancellor of the court.
1862 – In March, he resigned on his post because of failing health.
1870 – He died on 5th of November in Toronto.
