1933 - Born in Nutley, New Jersey on the 18th of September, the son of Giacomo Gubitosi and Elizabeth Cafone.

 

1938 - His family moved to Los Angeles, California.

 

1939 - Appeared as Toto in the MGM movie "Bridal Suite" starring Annabella and Robert Young.

 

1944 - Blake began playing an Indian boy, "Little Beaver".

 

1946 - Acted in the Warner Bros. movie "Humoresque", playing John Garfield's character as a child.

 

1948 - Starred in the film "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre", playing the Mexican boy.

 

1950 - He went into the Army.

 

1960 - Played the starring role in "The Purple Gang" a gangster movie.

 

1964 - Acted the featured roles in such movies as Ensign Pulver.

 

1965 - Played as one of the actor in the film "The Greatest Story Ever Told".

 

1967 - He starred in his acclaimed role of real-life murderer Perry Smith in In Cold Blood

 

1969 - Blake starred in the role of an Indian fugitive in "Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here".

 

1973 - Played the role as a motorcycle highway patrolman in "Electra Glide in Blue".

 

1975-1978 - Starred in the television series "Baretta" as Det. Tony Baretta.

 

1981 - Starred in the film adaptation Of "Mice and Men".

1999 - Blake met Bonnie Lee Bakley.

 

2000 - Married Bakley on 19th of November after DNA tests proved that he was in fact the biological father of Rose.

 

2001 - On 4th of May, Bakley was murdered by a gunshot to the head while sitting in the car.

 

2002 - He was arrested on 18th of April and charged in connection with the murder of his wife.

 

        - On April 22, Blake was charged with one count of murder.

 

        - Los Angeles District Attorney's office announced they would not seek the death penalty against Blake.

 

        - Blake posted $1 million bail but a judge denied bail for Blake on May 1.

 

2003 - On 13th of March, he was granted bail, which was set at $1.5 million.

 

2005 - On March 16, Blake was found not guilty of the murder of Bonnie Lee Bakley.

 

       - The jury found Blake liable for the wrongful death of his wife and ordered him to pay $30 million.

 

2006 - Blake filed for bankruptcy.
