       – Educated at Princeton University and the University of Edinburgh.

1928-1929 – Served as Professor at the Forman Christian College in Lahore.

1935-1951 – He was the minister of Presbyterian churches in America.

1951-1966 – Became the stated clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church.

1954-1957 – President of National Council of Churches.

1960 – Proposed plan for united Protestant Church at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, leading to formation of Consultation on Church Union 1962.

1966-1972 – Blake was General Secretary of the World Council of Churches.

1985 – Eugene Carson Blake died on 31st of July at Stamford.
