2000 – His editors were rebuking him for the high error rate in his articles.


2001 – He was made a full-time staff reporter.


2002 – He was promoted to the national desk.


2003 – On 28th of April, he received a call from Times national editor Jim Roberts.


       – He traveled to Texas and interviewed the woman in his article.


       – He was unable to provide proof and resigned from The Times on 2nd of May.
