1903 – Boris Blacher was born in the Manchurian town of Niuzhuang.

1922 – He went to Berlin where he began to study architecture and mathematics.

1924 – He turned to music and studied at Musikhochschule, Berlin, Germany.

1927-1931 – He studied music at University of Berlin, Germany.

1948 – He became Professor at Musikhochschule, Berlin, Germany.

1947 – He attracted attention in his Orchestral Variations on a Theme by Paganini.

1953-1970 – He served as Director in Musikhochschule, Berlin, Germany.

1975 – Blacher died on the 30th of January.
