1934 - Wilfred Bailey Bixby was born on the 22nd of January in San Francisco, California.

         - He attended the University of California, Berkeley.

1959 - He was hired to work as a model and to do commercial work for General Motors and Chrysler.

1961 - Bixby was in the musical The Boyfriend at the Detroit Civic Theater

1962 - He joined the cast of The Joey Bishop Show.

1976 - He appeared on The Streets of San Francisco.

         - He earned Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor for a Single Appearance in Drama or Comedy.

1963 - Bixby took the role of young reporter Tim O'Hara in CBS sitcom, My Favorite Martian.

1966 - He starred in the movie "Ride Beyond Vengeance".

1967 - He acted in the movie "You've Got to Be Kidding".

1967 - He starred in two of Elvis Presley's movies, Clambake and Speedway.

1969 - Bixby starred as Tom Corbett in the dramedy show The Courtship of Eddie's Father on ABC.

1971 - HE was nominated for an Emmy Award for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

1972 - He won the Parents Without Partners Exemplary Service Award.

1973 - He starred in the movie "The Magician".

1974 - Panelist on the revival of Masquerade Party hosted by Richard Dawson.

1975 - He co-starred with Tim Conway and Don Knotts in the Disney movie The Apple Dumpling Gang.

1976 - He worked in highly successful television miniseries with Susan Blakely on Rich Man, Poor Man.

1977 - Bixby starred as Dr. David Banner in a two-hour pilot movie called The Incredible Hulk.

1981 - Bixby directed an episode of Hulk.

1992 - He became an outspoken advocate for prostate cancer research.
