1813 - Samuel Birch was born on the 3rd of November.
1836 - Appointed in the antiquities department of the British Museum.
Appointed to the charge of the Egyptian and Assyrian branch.
He found the Egyptological work of the highest value, including a hieroglyphical grammar and dictionary.
1885 - Samuel Birch died on 27th of December.
