1823 - Born on the 27th of September in Royalton, Windsor County, Vermont.

 

1844 - Graduated from the University of Vermont.

 

1848 - Moved to San Francisco, where he became partner, with Henry Halleck.

 

1864 - Returned to Woodstock, Vermont and purchased the George Perkins Marsh estate.

 

1879-1881 - Served as President of the Northern Pacific Railway.

 

Constructed a chapel for the Congregational Church of Woodstock and built a church in Billings, Montana.

 

1890 - Frederick Billings died on 30th of September.
