1954 - Born on the 28th of February in Fairborn, Ohio.

 

1976 - Received All-Western Athletic Conference and honorable mention All-America honors.

 

1978 - Worked as a graduate assistant at Brigham Young for one season.

 

1979-1980 - He joined in the 49ers as the assistant director of public relations.

 

1981-1985 - Served as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for five seasons.

 

1986-1988 - Named the offensive coordinator of Utah State University.

 

1989-1991 - Hired as the assistant head coach and tight ends coach at Stanford by Dennis Green.

 

1991 - Green became the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings; he hired Billick as his tight ends coach.

 

1992-1998 - Offensive coordinator of Minnesota Vikings.

 

1999 - Head coach of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
