1886 - Francis Beverley Biddle was born on the 9th of May in Paris, France.

1909 - He earned A.B degrees from Harvard University.

1911 - He finished his law degree in Harvard University.

         - He worked as a private secretary to Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

1912 - He supported the presidential candidacy of former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt.

1927 - He wrote a novel about Philadelphia society, "The Llanfear Pattern."

1935 - President Roosevelt nominated him to be chairman of the National Labor Relations Board.

1941-1945 - Became Attorney General of the United States.

         - Resigned after Roosevelt's death.

1947 - Truman nominated him as American representative on the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

1965 - He became as chairman of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial Commission.

1968 - He died on the 4th of October in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
