Best, George
1946 - George Best was born on the 25th of November in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
1961 - At the age of 15, he discovered in Belfast by Manchester United scout Bob Bishop.
1963-1974 - Played for Manchester United as a winger helping them to win the Football League First Division.
1968 - Named European Footballer of the Year and Football Writers' Association Player.
1974 - His last game for the club was against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
1983 - Retired from the game, at the age of 37.
1998 - Best became a football pundit on Sky Sports.
2004 - He agreed to join FA Premier League club Portsmouth F.C. as a youth coach.
2005 - He died on 25th of November and was buried in East Belfast.
