Bertrand, Jean Jacques
1916 - Born on the 20th of June.
1948 - Bertrand served as Member of the Legislative Assembly for the District of Missisquoi.
1958 - He served as Minister of Lands and Forestry and briefly as Minister of Youth and Social Welfare.
1960 - The Union Nationale lost the provincial election.
1961 - Bertrand tried to become leader of the Union Nationale, but was defeated by his colleague Daniel Johnson, Sr., the MLA for the district of Bagot.
1966 - The Union Nationale was put back in office and Premier Daniel Johnson, Sr. appointed Bertrand to his Cabinet.
1967 - Bertrand served both as Education Minister.
1968 - Minister of Justice until Johnson's sudden death from a heart attack.
1970 - Served as Premier of Quebec, Canada.
1973 - Died on the 22nd of February.
