1921 - Daniel Berrigan was born on the 9th of May in Virginia, Minnesota.

1939 - He joined the Jesuits directly out of high school.

1952 - He was ordained to the priesthood.

1969 - He was arrested for non-violent protest and sentenced to six years in prison.

         - Berrigan decided to participate in a more radical non-violent protest.

1972 - He was released from prison.

1986 - He appeared as a Jesuit priest in the movie The Mission, directed by Roland Joffé.

1991 - He led protests against American destabilization of Central America, and the Gulf War.

2003 - He led protests in invasion of Iraq.
