1921 – Daniel Berrigan was born on the 9th of May in Virginia, Minnesota.

1939 – He joined the Jesuits directly out of high school.

1952 – He was ordained to the priesthood.

1969 – He was arrested for non-violent protest and sentenced to six years in prison.

         – Berrigan decided to participate in a more radical non-violent protest.

1972 – He was released from prison.

1986 – He appeared as a Jesuit priest in the movie The Mission, directed by Roland Joffé.

1991 – He led protests against American destabilization of Central America, and the Gulf War.

2003 – He led protests in invasion of Iraq.
