1846 – Cantata "The Damnation of Faust" also "La Damnation de Faust".

1852 – Wrote Evenings With the Orchestra.

1869 – Died on the 8th of March.

1870 – Berlioz’s Memoirs paints a magisterial portrait of the Romantic era.
