1920 - Dave Berg was born on the 12th of June.

 

Berg attended the Cooper Union Art School.

 

Served a period of time in the Army Air Corps.

 

Worked with Stan Lee at Timely Comics on a variety of comic books, including Combat Kelly.

 

1956 - Berg went to work for Mad.

 

1961 - Started the "Lighter Side" cartoon, which would become his most famous creation.

 

1989-1993 - Berg worked for the comic strips Citizen Senior.

 

1992 - Roger Kaputnik.

 

1994 - Astronuts.

 

2002 - He died on 17th of May because of cancer in his home in Marina del Rey, California.
