1946 - He was born on the 23rd of January in Moscow, Russia.

1983 - He studied forestry and then applied mathematics, receiving his doctorate.

1989 - He started in business under perestroika by buying and reselling automobiles from state.

1991 - He became a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

         - He was Chairman of a laboratory in its Institute of Control Sciences.

1992 - The company (LogoVAZ) was created with Berezovsky as its president.

1994 - In May 1994, Berezovsky became head of the notorious Automobile All-Russia alliance "VV" and became known as the initiator of "the national car" project.

         - He survived several assassination attempts, including one, when a car bomb decapitated the chauffeur of his car.

1996-1997 - He was deputy chairman of Russian Security Council.

1998-1999 - He was Executive secretary of Commonwealth of Independent States.

2001 - He moved to the UK in where he was granted political asylum.

2003 - He legally changed his name to Platon Elenin.
