1865 – He was born on the 26th of June in Butrimonys, Lithuania.

         – He graduated from Harvard University and married Mary Smith.

1895 – He wrote the Lorenzo Lotto, an Essay on Constructive Art Criticism won wide critical acclaim.

1903 – He published The Drawings of the Florentine Painters.

1907 – He published his The North Italian Painters of the Renaissance.

         – He Published two volumes of journals, "Rumor and Reflection" and "Sunset and Twilight".

1930 – He wrote the famous book, ‘The Italian Painters of the Renaissance.

1923 – He was called to give expert witness in a famous case brought by Andrée Hahn against Duveen.

1959 – Bernard Berenson Died on the 6th of October in Florence Italy.
