Bennett, William Richards (Bill)
1932 - Born on the 18th of August in Kelowna, British Columbia.
1973 - Elected as the British Columbia Social Credit Party Member of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan.
1975-1986 - Served as Premier of the Canadian province of British Columbia.
- His Media term coined to describe the younger Bennett was "Mini-Wac."
- In recognition for him the new replacement bridge in Kelowna is named after him.
