Bengtson, Phil
1913 - Born on the 17th of July in Roseau, Minnesota.
1934 - He earned All-America honors with the Golden Gophers.
1935 - Work as a Assistant coach job at the Missouri.
1940 - He moved to Stanford where he served as an assistant coach for 12 years.
1952 - Bengston moved to the professional level with the San Francisco 49ers.
1959-1967 - Phil Bengston was the assistant coach for Lombardi.
1968-1970 - Head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
1972-1974 - He become the interim head coach of the Patriots and was named the team's Director of Pro Scouting.
1975 - Lombardi's former quarterback, Bart Starr, became the head coach of the Packers.
1994 - Died after a long illness at his home in San Diego on 18th of December.
