1912 – Beneš taught at the Charles University of Prague.

1916 – He was the Secretary of the Czechoslovak National Council in Paris.

         – Minister of the Interior and of Foreign Affairs within the Provisional Czechoslovak government.

1918 – Foreign Minister of Czechoslovakia.

1920 – Member of the Parliament.

1921 – He was the professor and also Prime Minister.

1923-1927 – Member of the League of Nations Council.

1929 – Member of the Parliament.

1935 – He served as President of Czechoslovakia.

1938 – Resigned to protest Munich Agreement.

1940 – He served as president-in-exile.

1945 – Once again he become the President of Czechoslovakia.

1948 – Died on the 3rd of September.
