1882 - Born on the 12th of August in Columbus, Ohio. American sports artist and lithographer.
1901 - 1904 - He attended Ohio State University and was encouraged to become a professional baseball player.
1904 - He left Ohio State University and moved to New York City to study art.
1906 - Bellows was renting his own studio.
1908 - Organized an exhibition of mostly urban studies.
1907 - 1915 - Executed a series of paintings depicting New York City under snowfall.
1918 - Created a series of lithographs and paintings that graphically depicted the atrocities committed by Germany.
1921 - 1924 - He collaborated with master printer Bolton Brown on more than a hundred images.
1925 - Died on the 8th of January this year.
