1882 – Born on the 12th of August in Columbus, Ohio. American sports artist and lithographer.


1901 – 1904 – He attended Ohio State University and was encouraged to become a professional baseball player.


1904 – He left Ohio State University and moved to New York City to study art.


1906 – Bellows was renting his own studio.


1908 – Organized an exhibition of mostly urban studies.


1907 – 1915 – Executed a series of paintings depicting New York City under snowfall.


1918 – Created a series of lithographs and paintings that graphically depicted the atrocities committed by Germany.


1921 – 1924 – He collaborated with master printer Bolton Brown on more than a hundred images.


1925 – Died on the 8th of January this year.
