Bell, Thomas Montgomery

1861 – Born in Nacoochee Valley, near Cleveland, Georgia on the 17th of March.

1878-1879 – – He graduated from Moore’s Business University at Atlanta, then taught public school in Cleveland.He then worked as a traveling salesman for several years.

1898-1904 – He was served as clerk of the superior court of Hall County, Georgia.

1905 – He was elected as a congressmember in the Democratic Party of the United States.

1913-1915 –  – He served as majority whip.

1930 – After an unsuccessful renomination, he returned to the private sector.

1941 – Died in Gainesville, Georgia on the 18th of  March.
