1893 - Born on the 9th of June in Worcester, Massachusetts.
1899 - Behrman entered Providence Street School.
1907 - Began attending Classical High School.
1911 - Toured with the Poli vaudeville circuit.
1912 - Returned to Worcester due to failing health and entered Clark College.
1916 - He graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor's degree.
1917 - Moved to New York City to try to live and work as a writer.
- Worked towards his Master's degree from Columbia, studying under Brander Matthews.
1918 - Received his Master's degree and spent the next two years working for The New York Times.
1927 - Wrote play "The Second Man".
1952 - Appeared his first non-fiction book, Duveen.
1954 - Published The Worcester Account.
1973 - Died of apparent heart failure on the 9th of September in New York.
