Beerenbrouck, Charles Joseph Maria Ruys de (Charles Joseph)
1873 - Born on the 1st of December in Roermond.
1895 - Obtained his master's degree in law at the Leiden University.
1896 - He started his career as a lawyer in Maastricht.
1899 - Ruijs de Beerenbrouck became a member of the Maastricht City council.
1905-1918 - Elected as a member of parliament.

1918 - Governor of the provincie of Limburg.
- On the 9th of September, he was appointed as Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
1925-1929 - Ruijs de Beerenbrouck was chairman of the Tweede Kamer.
1933 - Ordered the bombing of the navy cruiser "De Zeven Provinciën".
1936 - Died on the 17th of April in Utrecht.
