1975 - Born on the 2nd of May in Leytonstone, England. English football (soccer) midfielder.

1986 - He was a Manchester United's mascot for a match against West Ham United.

1991 - Signed a contract as trainee under Manchester United.

1995-1996 - His league debut at age of nineteen.

         - Began showing his expertise in free kick and shots and he concluded this year with a goal from midfield in a battle against Wimbledon.

1998 - In the FIFA World Cup, he played all of England's qualifying matches and scored in several important victories.

         - He was a part of the team to have won in the Premier League, FA Cup, and the Champions League.

         - Got disqualified for the World Cup for a foul in the match between England and Argentina.

1999 - Married Victoria Adams of the Spice Girls in July 4th.

2000 - He was captain of the English national team, scored in three different FIFA World Cups, and played midfield for clubs in Manchester, England and Madrid, Spain.

2001 - He got recognized as BBC Personality of the Year.

2002 - Was able to play again in the World Cup.

         - His name was used for the film "Bend it Like Beckham" which referred to his skills in soccer.

2003 - Became part of Queen Elizabeth II's honors list and had been appointed as an Officer in The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

         - Manchester United sold him to Real Madrid for 35 million euros as transfer fee. He signed the contract on the 17th of June.

         - Officially presented as part of the Spanish team as squad number 23.

         - Released the #1 International best-selling book, "Beckham - Both Feet on the Ground".

2006 - He played for England in the FIFA World Cup of Soccer.

2007 - Agreed to move to Los Angeles, to play for Los Angeles Galaxy team on a five year contract beginning on July 1st.

         - Beckham played his final game for Real Madrid, winning a medal and celebrating with his friends Tom and Katie Cruse, who attended the game.
