Beazley, Kim Christian
1948 - Born on the 14th of December in Perth, Western Australia.
- Educated at Hollywood High School in Perth.
- Graduated at the University of Western Australia, where he gained an MA.
1973 - Balliol College, Oxford, where he gained a Master of Philosophy degree.
1983-1991 - Beazley was a minister under Bob Hawke.
- Appointed Minister for Aviation in Hawke's first ministry.
1984-1990 - Minister for Defence, with a seat in Cabinet and was responsible for establishing the Australian Navy's submarine.
1991 - Served as Minister under Paul Keating.
1995 - He was Deputy Prime Minister.
1996-2001 - Leader of the Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition.
2005-2006 - Once again Leader of the Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition.
