1871 – Born on the 17th of January in Nantwich, Cheshire.

1886-1888 – Served as a midshipman on the Mediterranean Fleet flagship HMS Alexandria.

1890-1892 – He was at the gunnery school, HMS Excellent when he was promoted to lieutenant.

1893-1895 – He was on the corvette HMS Ruby, he was transferred to the battleship HMS Camperdown.

1897 – Transferred to the battleship HMS Trafalgar and was given his first command, the destroyer HMS Ranger.

1900 – Gained recognition as a member of the British naval brigade during the Boxer Rebellion.

         – At the age of 29, Beatty became the youngest Captain in the Royal Navy.

1902 – He was captain of HMS Duke of Wellington and of the cruisers HMS Juno.

1903-1904 – HMS Arrogant and HMS Suffolk from 1904 until 1905.

1906 – Became the naval advisor to the Army Council.

1936 – Beatty died on 11th of March Trafalgar Square in London.
