1871 - Born on the 17th of January in Nantwich, Cheshire.

 

1886-1888 - Served as a midshipman on the Mediterranean Fleet flagship HMS Alexandria.

 

1890-1892 - He was at the gunnery school, HMS Excellent when he was promoted to lieutenant.

 

1893-1895 - He was on the corvette HMS Ruby, he was transferred to the battleship HMS Camperdown.

 

1897 - Transferred to the battleship HMS Trafalgar and was given his first command, the destroyer HMS Ranger.

 

1900 - Gained recognition as a member of the British naval brigade during the Boxer Rebellion.

 

         - At the age of 29, Beatty became the youngest Captain in the Royal Navy.

 

1902 - He was captain of HMS Duke of Wellington and of the cruisers HMS Juno.

 

1903-1904 - HMS Arrogant and HMS Suffolk from 1904 until 1905.

 

1906 - Became the naval advisor to the Army Council.

 

1936 - Beatty died on 11th of March Trafalgar Square in London.
