1926 – Jambyn Batmonh was born in Mongolia.

1948 – Became a member of the ruling Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party.

1973 – He became the minister of science.

1974 – Member of the politburo and the prime minister (chairman of the council of ministers).

1984 – Head of state when the party’s long-time leader, Yumjaagiyn Tsedenbal was ousted in a party congress.

1990 – Batmonh resigned as head of state in just before Mongolia’s first multiparty elections.
