1930-1941 – He worked for the Foreign Affairs Department as a law consultant.


1944 – Elected a member of the Academy of Political and Moral Sciences.


1949-1952 – He served as 2nd President of International Court of Justice.


1964 – Presided as a judge for the International Court of Justice .


1968 – Jules Basdevant died 17th of March.
