Herbert Blythe (Maurice Barrymore)

1905 - Herbert Arthur Chamberlayne Blyth was born 21st of September in Amritsar, Punjab, India.

He was educated at Harrow School, England and studied Law at Oxford University.

1872 - Maurice Barrymore won the middleweight boxing championship of England.

1874 - Boarded the SS America for Boston, and joined Augustin Daly's troupe making his debut in Under the

Gaslight.

1875 - He made his Broadway debut in Pique.

1876 - Georgiana Drew and Barry married on 31st of December.

1879 - Barrymore and fellow actor Ben Porter were shot by Texas and Pacific engineer Jim Currie.

1905 - Died in his sleep 26th of March in Amityville, New York.

He is the father of Ethel Barrymore, John Barrymore, and Lionel Barrymore.
