Barbara McConnell Barrett was a US aviation administrator and lawyer.

1983 – President Reagan appointed Barbara to the post of Vice Chairman of the United States Civil Aeronautics


1988-1989 – she served as the Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.(FAA)

1990 – Barbara served as the President and CEO of the American Management Association.

1994 – Barbara McConnell Barrett ran for Governor of Arizona.  

1999 – She received the prestigious Horatio Alger Award.

2003 – She was the chairman of US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy.

She is the wife of Craig Barrett.
