Clive Barker is an English-born American-resident author, film director and visual artist.

1952 – Clive Barker was born 5th of October in Liverpool, England.

He studied English and philosophy at Liverpool University.

1984-1986 – Clive Barker wrote short stories (collected in Books of Blood 1 – 6).

1985 – He wrote the novel The Damnation Game.

1987 – Clive Barker moved towards epic modern-day fantasy and urban fantasy with horror elements in "Weaveworld".
